As a legal advisor in Vestas´ Group Legal team you will be a trusted, key advisor on competition law, intellectual property, and strategic decisions where you can truly make a difference and work closely with stakeholders and legal colleagues across Vestas.
You will be empowered to provide commercial, value-creating solutions to complex challenges within the fast-growing renewable industry which allow Vestas to maintain its market-leading position as well as support in developing business processes and mitigating risks. You will be part of a highly collaborative and skilled legal team with a global outlook and impact. 

 

Responsibilities
Your tasks and responsibilities will be diverse and include

  • Advise on regulatory matters including EU competition law and various industry specific EU regulation
  • Identify, assess, and manage intellectual property matters across the value chain  
  • Lead and drive drafting and negotiation of various commercial contracts
  • Support M&A processes and strategic projects 
  • Develop and optimize legal guidance and governance, policies and legal templates and continuously share our knowledge and train our colleagues throughout the global Vestas organization

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Law 
  • +3 years of experience from a major law firm (DK or international) or as an in-house counsel in an international organization, preferably with international experience or exposure
  • Experience with competition law, intellectual property law and ideally also with international contracts

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across the global organization
  • Fluent English skills, spoken and written
  • Solid business understanding combined with a service-minded attitude
  • A keen interest in continuously learning and developing
  • The aspiration to be an integrated part of our team and willingness to walk the extra mile when needed 
  • A natural curiosity for Vestas' products and what enables the renewables agenda and Vestas' business
  • Organized and efficient with a good ability to define priorities and figuring out the necessary processes to get things done and create value
