Are you seeking the next step in your career? As a Construction Cost Specialist in our Customer Project Execution (CPX) Department, you'll have the chance to develop and supervise CPX budgets for a specific project portfolio or region. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across Onshore and Offshore teams in Sales, CPX Procurement, VPS, and more, serving as a key advisor. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to combine your technical and commercial expertise, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the full value chain while enjoying numerous development opportunities.

The Customer Project Execution (CPX) organisation is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of wind farms to our customers. Close collaboration with customers and other stakeholders is essential to ensure these processes are completed safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will join the Cost Management team for the NCE Region, working on both Onshore and Offshore projects. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining construction cost standards and delivering high-quality project budgets to support sales and execution.
You’ll be part of a diverse, international team of 8 people, known for their positive attitude and business-focused approach.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Oversee construction budgets for a specific region or project portfolio, detailing all cost bases.
  • Collaborate with Bid Management and Project Management on cost-related topics during the sales phase.
  • Initiate cost optimization activities and review cost drivers with stakeholders.
  • Support new product developments to reduce costs and ensure transparency in product and value chain costs.
  • Develop and promote periodic training for Senior Managers and Project Managers to ensure cost awareness and proper budgeting.
  • Enhance cost estimation models, weather assessments, and processes related to cost creation and cross-project benchmarking.

 
Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in budgeting, cost modeling, and data analysis in a commercial or financial role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, in addition to familiarity with SQL and BI tools, is advantageous for applicants.
  • Understanding of the wind industry, construction, or complex infrastructure projects is advantageous.
  • Enhanced English communication and presentation skills.

Additional information
Primary work location: we are open for candidates to be based in Aarhus, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany.
Expected travel: approximately 30 days per year
