Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best in class Procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional commodity teams with a focus on offshore labour
- Develop and align commodity strategies with business goals and stakeholder needs
- Execute strategies in partnership with global and regional teams to ensure a scalable and high-performing supply base
- Drive strong supplier relationship management to unlock value and cost optimisation opportunities
- Lead or contribute to major tenders and cost-saving initiatives across projects
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Enable end-to-end value creation through collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in global procurement and category/commodity management
- Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance)
- Offshore wind experience is a strong advantage
- Background in project management within EPC, oil & gas, or infrastructure
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategies in matrix organisations
- Solid leadership skills with ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
- Effective analytical capabilities with experience handling complex data sets

This position requires approximately 50 days of global travel per year.
