You will be a part of Vestas Digital Solutions who are responsible for a wide range of activities all related to driving and promoting the digital agenda. The ECSE team accelerate digital product development by providing secure enterprise scale technology platform and consulting to our business partners

 

As a Azure Security Architect, you have the vast opportunity to create a significant impact to both external and internal solution by working in our newly launched Enterprise Cloud Services & Engineering team (ECSE). With the ECSE, Vestas has centralized the Cloud platform knowledge to gather the best cloud competencies in one place, provide and operate best-practice cloud services and shape the future of our enterprise IT solutions. 

 

Responsibilities

We seek a highly driven Cloud Security Architect Architect who desires to actively contribute to this journey and unlock the full cloud security potential for Vestas, and drive that agenda with our central security

  • Ensure that security measures are built into our cloud landing zones and develop this over time. 
  • Contribute to secure software development process.
  • Conduct risk/security assessments of new and existing Cloud native solutions.
  • Recommend and support in implementation of technical solutions to mitigate identified security risks together with colleagues in the team.
  • Design cloud security architectural guidelines and review architectural designs.
  • Provide guidance to DevOps engineers/service teams in definition and prioritization of cloud security requirements.
  • Stay up to date on everything related to cloud security and participate in knowledge sharing/skill building to service teams.
  • Lead security compliance/auditing efforts based on relevant industry frameworks and compliance standards.

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience with cloud security or software security (i.e. security engineer, security architect, DevOps engineer focused on security).
  • Solid experience in infrastructure security and Azure cloud security.
  • Experience in performing security/compliance reviews and architectural reviews.
  • Experience in relevant identity and access management systems and standards.
  • Understanding of industry best practice Azure IAM architecture and policies.
  • Current certifications in at least one cloud provider discipline are beneficial.
  • Working in our Enterprise Cloud Services & Engineering naturally requires a solid technical understanding of cloud. 

 

Competencies

However, a good understanding of on-premise datacenter technologies is also beneficial as many cloud workloads are and will continue to be hybrid in nature and integrate with on-premise solutions.
