Our team is part of the Quality Management Office in VTO. We run global, highly impactful projects that are part of the wider strategic agenda directed by our Executive Management team. In this position, you will oversee expansive, cross-functional programs that develop Vestas’ Quality Strategy and integrate lasting improvements into processes, culture, and performance. We are now looking for an Associate Project Manager who will help execute strategic quality initiatives and support large-scale transformation programs across Vestas’ value chain. You will play a key role in turning strategy into real‑world changes that stick, with your success measured by the quality and adoption of the solutions you help deliver.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope definition, schedules, and resource tracking
- Manage and coordinate projects across multiple functions in Vestas’ value chain
- Support the orchestration of transformation initiatives with a clear focus on change management and adoption
- Act as coordinator in larger programs, ensuring alignment and momentum
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between key stakeholders – schedule meetings, prepare materials, and document decisions and actions
- Monitor project progress, flag risks, and help implement mitigation efforts
- Prepare reports, presentations, and progress updates for internal audiences, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment on goals and deliverables
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we believe that you have the following experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or similar—or equivalent professional experience
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or a junior PM role
- Familiarity with quality management concepts and project management methodologies
- Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English

Additional information
Your work location will be Aarhus, Denmark where the team and other main stakeholders are located. You are expected to work in-office most of the time to support program alignment and execution. You should expect some travel activity, approximately 10-20 days per year, and you will collaborate across global regions and time zones.
