Digital Solutions & Development > Digital Solutions > Digital Development Platform

The Autonomous Flows Advisors team sits within the Organization’s Digital Development Platform and supports the end-to-end AI and automation transformation across the business. The ideal candidate combines business curiosity, technology awareness, and effective stakeholder engagement skills. They understand the potential and limitations of AI and automation technologies and can help stakeholders evaluate opportunities, define value, and support effective adoption.

As an AI Strategy & Portfolio Advisor, you will help business and product stakeholders identify, evaluate, and embed AI use cases into their roadmaps, as well as identify synergies across use cases that allow us to reinvent core business models and customer offerings. You'll combine strategic thinking with practical analytical work by assessing feasibility, defining value metrics, and ensuring initiatives are grounded in data reality before resources are committed. This is not a research or purely strategic role. You will be expected to get into the details, question assumptions, and produce tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities

As an AI Strategy and Portfolio Advisor, you will play an instrumental role in our efforts to enable the Vestas AI transformation. You will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with product owners and business stakeholders to identify, scope, and prioritize AI use cases with clear business value into their product roadmaps
  • Supporting the standardization of cross-domain patterns into scalable, reusable AI products
  • Using established frameworks and practices to assess data readiness, technical feasibility, and implementation complexity for proposed AI initiatives
  • Helping define success metrics and expected business outcomes for each AI initiative, in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Supporting end-to-end automation journeys across different organizations
  • Contributing to AI governance by helping define guidelines, guardrails, and responsible use practices
  • Supporting AI literacy initiatives aimed at both technical and non-technical teams
  • Supporting build-vs-buy decisions, including structured assessment of AI vendors

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, Information Technology, Digital Innovation, Engineering, Communication, or related field. The role is best suited for early-career professionals with 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, technology consulting, product discovery, AI adoption, or similar fields. While technical understanding is important, the position does not require practical machine learning engineering or software development experience
  • Practical understanding of AI and automation use cases, including their business applications, limitations, risks, and implementation considerations
  • Experience supporting business cases, process improvement initiatives, technology assessments, or digital transformation programs
  • Familiarity with data quality concepts, data readiness assessments, and the role of data in enabling AI solutions
  • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI practices, automation frameworks, or technology governance initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders in cross-functional environments
  • Highly effective written and spoken English communication skills

Competencies

  • Applies a business-oriented mindset to identify opportunities where AI and automation can create measurable value and operational improvements
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts into simple, engaging, and actionable messages
  • Builds productive relationships across functions and helps align stakeholders with different priorities and perspectives
  • Uses structured thinking and analytical approaches to evaluate opportunities, assess feasibility, and support decision-making
  • Demonstrates a practical understanding of AI and automation trends, opportunities, risks, and responsible adoption practices
  • Shows curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn about emerging technologies, business innovation, and AI-driven transformation
  • Supports the adoption of AI through compliance with governance principles, ethical considerations, and organizational standards
