Responsibilities

As our AI Innovation Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between emerging AI technologies and practical business applications. You will work closely with domain experts, engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, build solutions, and create measurable value.

You will:

  • Define, develop, and mature AI concepts from idea through validation and implementation
  • Identify opportunities where AI can drive meaningful improvements in service operations, enable scalability, automation, and future product concepts
  • Develop and validate AI solutions using image, video, audio, sensor, and operational data
  • Work hands-on with data, algorithms, and software development to create practical AI solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Service, R&D, and Product Management to translate business challenges into impactful AI solutions
  • Explore new advances in AI and Machine Learning and help shape future technology roadmaps
  • Contribute to innovation projects that create measurable business value and support Vestas' long-term strategic ambitions

 

Qualifications

  • You may hold a degree in:

Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline

 

Min. 04 years of relevant experience in  one or more of the following:

  • Experience developing and implementing AI or Machine Learning solutions in real-world environments
  • Good programming skills, particularly in Python
  • Experience working with modern AI and Machine Learning frameworks
  • Experience taking ideas from prototype to operational deployment
  • A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and technology development
  • Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms, embedded AI, or edge computing technologies is considered an advantage but is not a requirement

 

Competencies

  • We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Computer Vision, Audio Analytics, Predictive Maintenance, Anomaly Detection, Industrial AI, Intelligent Automation, Data Analytics, VLM, LLM, Machine Learning

 

In addition, you:

  • Have a demonstrated ability to transform data into actionable insights and business value
  • Understand the end-to-end AI lifecycle from data acquisition and model development to deployment and continuous improvement
  • Can communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A team player and enjoy collaborating across teams and disciplines
  • Are curious, proactive, and motivated by solving challenging problems
  • Thrive in an environment where innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning are part of everyday work
