Global SQD Senior Manager Towers

The department consists of 7 senior persons directly reporting to the Global SQD Manager Towers.


The team is structured in 4 main areas: Tower manufacturing SQD , Internals SQD, Steel Materials SQD & Manufacturing Technical Development.

 

Responsibilities
The responsibilities are the following ones:

  • Ensure that suppliers are capable of delivering products exceeding quality expectations on time. To do so the Global SQD Manager is responsible for:
    • Ensuring that the team and the SQD Region is engaged and their voice is taken into account in all decision points (module, submodule, development gates) in order to have quality risks evaluated and mitigated if needed
    • Ensuring that the team and the regions are deploying APQP/PPAP in all suppliers and projects
    • Ensuring transparency related to the Q maturity level of the supplier panel 
    • Ensuring that the team is making a good use of lessons learnt towards all relevant stakeholders (VPS, GP, Transportation...)
    • Ensuring benchmarking of best practices among different regions and suppliers
    • Ensuring that the team is properly equipped in terms of capacity and capabilities and the needed development activities are in place

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering or business background
  • Min 5 years of experience in Procurement, or Supplier Quality or Quality supervising functionally or hierarchically a team
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Wind Industry

    • Capability to identify development needs making the team accountable of their development
