Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity in a global organisation and would like to be a part of a green energy transition? Currently, we are looking for PDM Specialisto join the department to primarily focus on Engineering Change management 

 

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Manufacturing > Specialist 
PDM department is responsible BoM and Engineering Change Management (ECM) in the manufacturing area for Assembly, delivering Electronics, Converters, Generators and Nacelle modules for the turbine. That means that handling tasks with a big impact in various part of the organization, throughout the value chain from design, sourcing, manufacturing and to service. We ensure that the detail design is ready for implementation and that the ramp up in serial production is implemented according to agreed targets. Responsible for creating and updating master data on BOM. Configuration of Production BoM and have a control on BoM releases/upgrades.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be heading at least one product groups at a time, depending on the size and complexity. You will handle and follow up on all ECM and product data within your scope and with the support from the PDM team in Denmark and from other parts of the Vestas organization.
  • BoM Configuration specialist based on requests and design changes 
  • Closely working with Design team to understand Global BoM and actively involved in BoM Extension 
  • Ensure Engineering Change Management (ECM) execution according to targets (specific areas will be assigned). Incl. support to factories so that implementation of product changes do not affect quality, delivery and cost.
  • Engineering Change Request (ECR) expert (ensure evaluation of impact to Vestas - holistic view).
  • Coordinate the Change Management process in New Product Introduction (NPI) & Technology Transfer (TT) projects according, hereunder reporting to various stakeholders Analysis and follow up on Product Phase Out
  • You ensure that our processes are followed and you contribute to a continuous improvement of our processes as well Master Data, Costing, Materials extension & enrichment, BoM assignment, Routing & material allocation process, Traceability

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree on SCM or Production engineer or similar.
  • You have minimum 7 year of experience from a global production company, working with PDM & Engineering Change Management or process optimization.
  • You have good IT understanding hereunder ERP (SAP preferred). Basic knowledge on supply chain and costing 
  • You are used to handling global stakeholders

  • Ability to handle stakeholders and courage to motivate the pitfalls
  • Change agent and creativity to build new powerBI dashboards and digital automatic solutions
