We are looking for a skilled Commercial Operations Analyst for our Commercial Management Office in Service at Vestas Northern and Central Europe. Location can be in any of our major offices in Copenhagen Denmark, Hamburg Germany, and Malmö Sweden, with a preference for location in Copenhagen.

The Commercial Management Office supports all commercial activities of the Service organization across 20+ countries and diverse business areas in the region by 1) Delivering relevant management reporting and insights, 2) Supporting the biggest digital transformation program in Vestas' history with process and design inputs, 3) Product management, 4) Sales pipeline management, and 5) Commercial Governance. This is all done in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders including regional management, account management teams and process improvement colleagues, etc. You will be part of an international team located across Northern and Central Europe.



  • As the next Commercial Operations Analyst, you will take a key role in supporting a significant growth agenda with a primary focus to provide support to the commercial sales operations, delivering relevant reporting and insights, while supporting the sales pipeline management area.  You will work to capture the business needs of multiple commercial stakeholders across the EMEA region and multiple diverse and exciting product lines, developing tangible tools and insights that can empower solving the issues and support future growth.
  • Deliver and develop sales performance reporting
  • Support process and implementation of sales pipeline management
  • Become the regional expert on commercial data and systems, both Salesforce and SAP
  • Propel the early budget planning process by providing supporting material to the sales team that contributes to setting the right level + work closely with Finance to ensure the inputs to the finance model
  • Support the business with ad-hoc analysis on commercial related topics: Price/margin analysis, product mix and market size analysis 



  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or something similar
  • Junior level; 0 - 5 Years of experience
  • Experience from relevant student job is beneficial



  • A solid understanding of business concepts with a good commercial and financial
  • foundation
  • An investigative mindset, comfortable working with and presenting numbers
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated accountability and ownership 
  • Skilled communicator, both in dialogues with stakeholders and when presenting
  • data/conclusions
  • Organized, systematic, with a natural attention to detail
  • Empathic and easy to be around
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Advanced Excel user and comfortable with Power Point
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and CPQ modules beneficial
  • Admin or superuser experience a big plus
