Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Tech. Supp. Operational Systems NCE
Technical Support Operational System Team is a sub department of Technical Support NCE, supporting both Offshore and Onshore Service and Construction business in entire NCE region, in terms of technical knowledge and acting as the link between R&D and local business units. 
Joining Technical Support Operational System Team, you will be part of a high experience and dedicated team that consists of 16 persons that is spread throughout the NCE Region. In this position one is taking leadership for implementing Vestas strategy, supporting various stakeholders with technical knowledge, securing customer focus and safety. Since the team is spread in different countries, we are open to which location this position will be stationed.
 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting service technicians and various stakeholders within Service and Construction (Offshore and Onshore), by providing advanced troubleshooting support as well as assist various internal teams, such as Service Technical Planning, Customer Service teams, and Construction teams 
  • Handle requests in ticketing systems and provide support through various communications channels
  • Interaction and supporting all sub-teams within Technical Support NCE, and ensuring technical knowledge is shared across the teams
  • Focus on lowering the LPF (Lost Production Factor) on Vestas turbine portfolio
  • Act as the link/bridge between VPS (Technology R&D), Service and Construction. Involvement in VPS project and implementing lessons learnt between VPS, Service and Construction organization on the Vestas turbine fleet
  • Review technical customer questions, provide answers, and present technical topics at customer meetings
  • Create, update, and maintain guides (VGAs) for Service Technicians - ensures consistent and accurate information

 

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
  • Electrical or mechanical education, along with minimum 5 years working experience in the wind industry
  • Alternatively, relevant Engineering education (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering)

 

Competencies

  • High technical knowledge of WTG control systems (e.g., Toolkit, VOB, VTM, VAX)
  • Commercial and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment
  • Comprehensive organizational and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable working with limited supervision and in remote teams
  • Pragmatic problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Proficient in PC skills, including SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

Additional information
Your primary work location could be Videbæk, Aarhus, Malmö, Östersund, Berlin, Hamburg, Husum, Rheine, Warrington Constanta, Szcecin or Toun.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately 15-20 days per year.
