Vestas is currently seeking to fill a student worker position to strengthen our Mechanical Engineering team in Northern and Central Europe (NCE).
WTG Engineering NCE including subdepartment Diagnostics & Multibrand Mechanical Engineering NCE is responsible to support regional and Construction organizations with technical knowledge to install and operate Vestas and Multibrand turbines successfully within NCE both onshore and offshore. Additionally, they are supporting professional technical reports (offline CMS and endoscopy) and special measurement methods in Allbrand area.
Mechanical team consists of 23 highly experienced and dedicated employees located in several locations in Germany, Poland, Romania and Denmark.
 

Responsibilities

  • Support in evaluation of reports and statements
  • Support in administrative work of the engineers
  • Support in daily tasks being processed within the overall mechanical engineering team
  • Support in root cause analysis of failures on mechanical components
  • Support in daily engineering tasks
     

Qualifications

  • Student in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Ability to read technical drawings in detail
  • Experience in Microsoft office products
  • Ability to communicate in English language fluently in business environment

  • Structured, self-driven, takes initiative and ownership
  • Highly self-motivated and result orientated
  • Good in communication / collaboration within and outside of the department

Additional Information
The primary work location will be in Szczecin, Poland. You can expect to be working around 20-30 hours per week – however, we will accommodate to the academic schedule.
