Vestas Factory

Vestas Offshore Service Support APAC, is part of the overall Offshore Service business in the APAC region, working closely with the Operational Service Team, Sales, Special Projects, and Construction. Responsible for the service site setup, support, and preparation, including long-term strategic planning for the APAC offshore service regions. You will work closely with Service Offshore Operations.

 

Region APC > Service APAC > Master Planning and Scheduling

 

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion

• Creating site specific scheduling plans and defining resources needed for service orders, e.g. competencies, materials, and tools.

• Find technical documentation/work instructions for technicians.

• Daily communication with technicians, planners, technical and customer group

• Continuous improvement, including a proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as a strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks

• Balance all assigned product orders to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity

• Service crew composition is up to date and adjusted to demand

• Tools, parts & services are planned and monitored on time before crew mobilization

• Crew schedules are monitored on a day-to-day basis

O• n-time communication to crews and partners is guaranteed

• KPIs and PPIs related to Planning & Scheduling are balanced and under control

 

Qualifications

• Experience with technical planning and scheduling, ideally obtained in a technical-related environment, eg: technical planner, wind turbine technician or newly qualified engineer in an established role with a focus on Planning, technical specifications, documentation, and reporting.

• Good IT skills and SAP/Salesforce and planning tool experience is welcome.

• Understanding of new technology, and interest in diving into technical documentation

• Good communication skills both oral and writing

• Ability to evaluate and identify trends

• Self-driven, structured and solution-oriented

• Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks
