The IO sub-module is a department within Vestas Power Solutions, responsible for developing and maintaining embedded low-level software stacks deployed in the control systems used across the whole portfolio of Vestas Wind Turbines

Responsibilities

Your main daily tasks will include as follows:

• Individual technical contributor with self-drive to understand problem statements and make design decisions, own what you do, make your calls, and defend them
• Develop technical software product design, code, test (unit & functional) and maintain the software, while proving that your implementations works
• Implement software engineering processes and discipline for fast and efficient development of high-quality software products
• Work with team spitit in a high-performance environment that rewards ownership
• Make your opinion count within the team and the organization
• Embedded SW engineer who enjoys working with HW

Qualifications

It would be great if you have:

• A bachelor or Master in Computer science engineering / Electronics from a premier institute with 3 - 7 years of industry experience
• Solid design, excellent programming and debugging skills on a Unix-based OS (Ubuntu, Fedora, OSX) and fluency with a DVCS like Git.
• Programming Languages in C++

Competencies

Other aspects not less important will be:

• Skilled with python packages: scikit-learn, pandas, numpy and scipy
• Understanding of common algorithms and their application in solving real-world problems
• Comprehensive mathematical background in linear algebra, optimization, descriptive & inferential statistics
