Region NCE > SBU NCE Construction & Operations > Contract Management
The Construction Department is in charge of all wind farm projects from start to completion. Working closely with the logistics, procurement and finance departments, the team has to keep projects on budget and on schedule and ensures our safety and quality standards are met. 
This position in particular works closely with the sales, bid management and legal departments to ensure commercial interest of Vestas is represented, ensuring major contractual risks are known and addressed.
 

Responsibilities
Sales Contracts support 

  • Support Legal, Sales and Bid Management (hereinafter Contract Negotiation Team) and work closely with Contract Negotiation team on demand and collect and coordinate the input from CM Team on matters pertaining to projects in biding phase and liaise with Contract Negotiation team to decide together the appropriate course of action
  • Participate in the GK meetings and deliver ad-hoc input as well as input on behalf of CM Team
  • Support and attend contract negotiations with complex contractual customers and/or key customers
  • Participate in contract negotiations (if/where needed)
  • Ownership of CM Team lessons learned, with periodical reviews with CM Team to ensure latest LL, and full understanding of LL. Conduct lessons learned with the Contract Negotiation Team 
  • Review of contract proposals (if/where needed) and initiate and supervises/coordinates the processes of changing / adapting TSA templates after identifying potential risk areas, as well as areas enhancing profitability
  • Lead role in Contract Management specific tasks related but not limited to Claim register/reporting, Stage Gate Model, SharePoint, Automation Project, Contracts Repository Project, and other cross-departmental projects

 

Qualifications

  • Graduated with a Bachelor/Master (Diploma) in law or economics or industrial and civil construction or similar
  • Several years ( min 7 years) of overall work experience with contractors or engineers in  sales, bid management, contracts management, quantity survey in the construction industry
  • Broad knowledge of the types and structure of the contracts in construction and energy industries (FIDIC or EPCI would be welcomed)
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking; German language constitutes is an advantage
