A DAY IN THE LIFE 
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Fredonia, NY, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, but you also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). The team here normally works in teams of two to three and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day.

 
MORE ABOUT YOU

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset and proven communication skills
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work and lead in a team environment
✓ You will bring at least 2 yrs of extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms 

✓ You have performed mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair work pertaining to main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades in the wind industry
