Value Management is anchored in Onshore Product Market Strategy in Sales, where we set the direction for future commercial product offerings, making sure that Vestas always has the right products and offerings while ensuring market access. The Onshore Product Market Strategy has a global reach into our sales regions and customers and collaborates with all Vestas’ functions.

We are responsible for aligning the Product Strategy globally across our Sales Business Units to support local market growth, taking into account the dynamics of the global market for renewable solutions. We also collaborate actively with our sales regions and customers to differentiate and optimize customers' business cases.

Responsibilities

You will be a Senior Product Manager in the Value Management team with the responsibility of creating and improving commercial value creation optimization in close collaboration with our Sales Business Units, our Regions, our customers, and Global Development.

Your key contribution is creating market-oriented P&L optimization opportunities supporting our ability to differentiate and tailor our offerings towards customers through the rollout and deployment of approved roadmap projects, including the deployment of global cross-functional value engineering levers optimizing customers' value creation and business cases supporting Giga deals optimization.

By having a solid understanding of customers' business case drivers, value creation, and value levers, you will:

  • Directly evaluate optimization and build new strategic recommendations which can be used to further improve our global commercial competitiveness, profitability, and sustainability
  • Build and guide our global cross-functional value engineering portfolio together with customer value and business case drivers, including developing smart selection tools. In close collaboration with our Sales Business Units and value chain
  • Further develop more advanced value engineering levers linked to park optimization and financial optimization.
  • Support Vestas' global strategy of further enabling our ability to differentiate and tailor future wind projects and customer needs for business case optimization
  • Participate in regional workshops with customers working on specific site optimization
  • Conduct analyses to optimize and tailor customer projects and maximize profitability
  • You will collaborate with regions and customers and participate in Regional workshops combined with preparing relevant material for executive decision-makers

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. or an MBA - either in Engineering combined with a high commercial and financial interest in a commercial education - or Business/Economics, along with relevant technical experience
  • You have solid experience within the wind industry, specifically in turbine and project optimization
  • Understanding a similar industry's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain is desirable
  • You possess great communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken
