Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best in class Procurement function. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas Wind System A/S, the global leader in the Wind Industry, including Strategy development and implementation, Value creation initiatives, negotiations, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Account Management. Our Procurement organization consist of app. 600 dedicated employees spread out across the globe, with app. 120 employees located in the headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark.
You will support the RE/FM Category, which is responsible for Vestas's global procurement of Real Estate and Facility services, yearly spend around 250 mio. euro. You will report to the Senior Director for Global IT and Business Services Procurement, and havne an important part in setting the direction for the area and ensuring that Vestas has the best agreements and solutions towards our internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Real Estate and Facility Management category and secure the development of the right solutions globally
• Develop and implement global RE/FM strategy in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders globally and regionally, focusing on capturing the full value potential of our global agreements.
• Develop and install cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, as well as create an effective category structure across all the relevant areas
• Be a key member of the Global IT and Business Service Procurement team. Represent the procurement team and act as an ambassador towards internal and external Stakeholders and lead global negotiations
• Set direction and plan execution across the category
• Ensure that Vestas gets the maximum value and savings out of supplier cooperation and at the same time be an active player in developing world-class solutions for Vestas together with our internal and external stakeholders
• Continue to build an environment with lots of enthusiasm, speed, great results, smiles and fun

Qualifications

• You have several years of procurement experience, including being part of culturally diverse and global teams
• You have experience with category management, including guiding cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and tasks of high complexity
• You have a good theoretical background within Procurement, Finance or Supply chain
• You are a strong negotiator who lives for delivering the expected savings, solutions and do not take no for an answer
• You are a category leader who sets visions for where you want to take the area as well as the business, and who can create strategies to achieve and implement these visions
• Background in an Indirect Procurement organization will be an advantage
